Photo and artifacts Donations
If you have old photos or artifacts that you may have inherited or know of others that have items that promote the history of the area, please make the effort to donate these items or inform others. We are in the early stages of gathering materials to organize a historical society for the area. This will not be possible without your donations of these items. You will receive a certificate of donation that verifies that your donation will remain as part of the South Huntingdon website and never sold or used for monetary gain. This certificate will also state that your donations will be transferred into the property of the historical society once it is formed. Credit for these donations will be preserved with each item per your specification.
Photo and artifacts Use
If you do not wish to donate items but would like to share them. These items will be photographed, documented and placed online for viewing via the website. You will be credited with each item.
Your Involvement
In order to establish a historical society, we need volunteers that are willing to donate their time and support to create a society.
Your Input
This website was designed to provide you with the tools needed to add your input. The information that you enter will be viewed by thousands of visitors that have an interest in the history of the area.
