What happens when you cross Coal Mines, Wyano and Chemical Engineering? ...You find John J. McKetta Jr.
The Lee family was blessed this summer with a visit from
John J. McKetta, Jr. and his wife Pinky from Austin, Texas.
John was born in Wyano, Pennsylvania in 1915. They are such a wonderful couple and we loved their visit. It was great to sit and listen to their stories and John's childhood memories of growing up in the Wyano and Yukon area.
The McKetta's try to get back to the area every chance they have and look forward to another visit in 2004.
John was gracious enough to share his booklet titled "My First 80 Years... John J. Mcketta, Jr.". The booklet outlines his life from his childhood to present day.
